eRTS – e-Motor Rotor Temperature Sensor

The temperature sensor measures the rotor temperature close to magnets in e-Motors while using wireless signal transmission.

  • Accurate rotor temperature sensor (+/- 3°) to replace the current model-based approach embedded in the inverter (+/- 15°C)
  • Cost improvement by reducing temperature grades of magnet (less Dy)
  • More performance due to less derating

  • Improved the temperature “History” monitoring (cold/hot restart, etc.)
